Planning your patch

The little veg patch is split up into 16 squares with wooden planting frame batons. The idea is, you can grow a different crop in each square. Vegetables are split into for main groups - Brassicas, Legumes, Root Vegetables and Other Vegetables (this group includes Salads). These groups should be planted together in 4 neighbouring squares and rotated around the central point every year as the diagram below illustrates.
